How it works
BMI is your weight in kilograms divided by the square of your height in meters. The categories follow the World Health Organization adult ranges: under 18.5 underweight, 18.5–24.9 normal, 25–29.9 overweight and 30 or more obesity.
BMI is a screening measure and does not account for muscle mass, age or body composition. It is not suitable for children or pregnant women. Consult a healthcare professional for personal advice.
