How it works
Under Articles 84–85 of the Saudi Labor Law, the award is half a month's wage for each of the first five years and a full month's wage for each year after that, with part-years counted proportionally.
If the employee resigns, they receive one-third of the award after 2–5 years of service, two-thirds after 5–10 years, and the full award after 10 years; nothing for less than 2 years. This is an estimate: confirm with the Ministry of Human Resources calculator or a legal adviser.
